This product is a new high strength lithium disilicate ingot with High Density Micronization (HDM) Technology. Ivoclar E.Max Lithium Disilicate Bridges and Crowns
Whenever strength and beauty are needed, Ivoclar E.Max Lithium Disilicate pressable restorations are available upon request. Berry Dental Lab uses e.max Ceram to layer porcelain into these high strength framework restorations for the utmost in aesthetics. No other products offer the strength in an all porcelain pressed restoration. At nearly 500mpa E.Max full contour press may be used in short span anterior bridgework or as single posterior restorations. E.Max provides excellent margin integrity and can be placed with the appropriate prep design and any cement with which you are comfortable working.
Designed with simplicity and versatility in mind, IPS e.max is the ultimate in metal-free esthetics and durability offering high-strength materials for both the PRESS and the CAD/CAM technique.
No matter which technique you choose, all components are available from one manufacturer. If you prefer to work with the PRESS technique, two different types of ingots are available: IPS e.max Press, a high-strength glass-ceramic and IPS e.max ZirPress, an esthetic glass-ceramic which is pressed onto zirconium oxide in a fast and efficient procedure.

Our Full Contour Zirconia Crowns are made of solid zirconia with no porcelain overlay.
Solid Zirconia crowns are made from the highest quality zirconia powder.

Full contour Solid Zirconia is indicated for crowns, bridges, implants, inlays and onlays. It is an aesthetic alternative to PFM metal occlusal/lingual or full cast restorations.
Zirconia installations do not require shoulder preparation and feather edge is okay. As a conservative preparation, similar to full cast gold, any preparation with at least 0.5 mm of occlusal space is accepted while 1 mm is ideal.
Authentic porcelain has the remarkable ability to blend into the oral environment unlike any other restorative material. The results are absolutely beautiful! Authentic restorations provide the availability to mask out stained dentition without sacrificing vitality with three different levels in the pressed core combined with stains and micro layering techniques. Authentic porcelain is keyed to the VITA LUMIN shade guide and whenever possible, shades should be selected from this guide.
Authentic crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers can be fabricated either by pressing the entire structure and staining the final color onto the surface - or just a core can be pressed and then micro layered with low fusing Authentic porcelain and fine grain stains to achieve stunning shade results.
The Authentic Layer Technique is ideal for cosmetic restorations in the anterior region or anywhere additional translucency or characterization is required. This technique gives you many more options in prescribing the appropriate restoration for your patient.
The Authentic Stain Technique is ideal for inlays, onlays and crowns in the posterior region where strength is a more necessary factor than particular shade characterization. Shades are still superior to any other restorative material and blend well once placed.
Authentic Pressable Porcelain can be pressed over High Noble "Bio 2000" 97.7% yellow gold alloy or CAPTEK copings. Amazing results in pressable bridgework or cases that require metal features such as bands or bite pads are available through new techniques being developed daily. BruxZr Full Contour Monolithic High Strength Crowns
BruxZir® Solid Zirconia is a monolithic zirconia crown, bridge, screw-retained implant crown, full-arch fixed implant solution, inlay or onlay with no porcelain overlay. First launched as being "More Brawn Than Beauty," the material was originally intended to provide a durable, more esthetic alternative to posterior metal occlusal PFMs or cast gold restorations for demanding situations like bruxers, implant restorations and areas with limited occlusal space.
Porcelain Fused to Metal
While there is a continuing decline in the usage of pfm restorations, we believe that those that are prescibed need to have superior materials to accomplish the high level of quality our clients deserve and have come to expect. One of those materials is Noritake EX-3 porcelain. We have found the shades to be closer to matching the Vita Classic shade guide than any other porcelain we have used. A good ceramist can make any porcelain look good, but a good ceramic makes a good ceramist even better!
Noble & High Noble Full Cast Crowns
Berry Dental uses high quality Argen alloys for our High Noble and Noble restorations. We take great care in the contour and anatomy, including secondary anatomy, of our full cast crowns. The same anatomical scheme is consistent with our typical porcelain fused to metal contours for a harmonious blend and maximum comfort for the patient. The occlusal excursions are worked out in wax prior to casting to ensure minimal finishing and the result ensures very few chairside adjustments.
Our full cast crowns are made using proprietary wax, sprue and casting techniques that ensure solid, non-porous castings that have been proven to work for many decades in a few dental laboratories across the country. Not all labs use these techniques, but we have from our first day. Proper handling of gold alloys, heating, spruing, burnout - all play a role in how well our crowns are finished.
Implants & Precision Attachments
Berry Dental Lab has completed numerous implant restorations from 3i, Strauman, Steri-Oss, Bicon, Zimmer & Nobel/Biocare. Each case fee is set by complexity and type of implant used. All implant cases are constructed with a soft tissue model for proper tissue management. 3i Encode and Atlantis Implants are available upon request through Berry Dental in partnership with 3i and Atlantis. We recommend these milled implants on all multiple unit bridges or where a limited path of insertion is required. These are also recommended for highly esthetic areas that need root form abutments to achieve maximum esthetic results.
BDL uses a variety of precision attachments. The most commonly ordered are Stern ERAs, VKS as well as semi-precision Mini Rest, Mortice Rests and PD attachments. Please prescribe the attachments of your choice.
We offer PMMA shaded temporaries shaded to your guide selection, made from your STL file or a traditional impression and model.
PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) is used to fabricate temporary dental restorations, including complex implants or large span bridges. The temporary restoration is designed over a scanned impression, from either an intra-oral or desktop scanner, and fabricated using a milling machine.
